Hand washing

Hand washing is the first step in any good detail. Over time, brush bristles or automated car washes leave faint lines in your paint. This can take away from the appearance of your paint. You will especially notice this in darker coloured vehicles. Using wash mitts avoids that and helps us to get into harder to reach areas. Using the 2 bucket method, one for soap and one for rinsing, ensures no rocks or debris get caught in our mitts. This ensures you receive a quality wash every time.

Rims and tires

Brake dust collects on our wheels as we drive. Rims are made up of different materials like aluminum or chrome. Using our quality wheel cleaning products we leave your rims looking like new. We also always add a tire dressing with an applicator to the rubber to make sure you keep the wet look to your tires.

Windows

No matter how hard we try, sometimes it seems we can’t get rid of streaks in the windows. Cleaning windows in direct sunlight or with only one cloth will cause this issue. We always use the 2 towel method. One cleans and immediately afterwards we go over it with a dry window cloth to ensure a streak free finish.

Claybar

That is exactly what it sounds like. We use a bar of specialized automotive clay to remove road or weather contamination that is embedded in the paint. A claybar will leave a smooth finish to the paint instead of the rough finish that can remain after a wash. We have a fine grade and an ultra fine grade claybar that we use depending on the condition of your vehicle. This is done in preparation for a wax or polish. This is a necessary step so we wax or polish the paint and not any contaminants trapped within the paint molecules.

Premium Wax

Using Carnauba Paste wax adds a layer of protection to your paint as well as a more rich and vibrant colour finish. Depending on how often your vehicle is used and where it is stored, we recommend you wax your vehicle 2 or 3 times each year.

Machine Polish

We use a dual action polisher with an appropriate cutting pad and finishing compound. We change to a smaller polisher for the more intricate parts or your vehicle. Polishing gives more depth to your paint and reduces any fine brush marks or swirl marks in your paint finish. This takes place before a wax.
